Jeep Grand Cherokee "Ferrari Edition"

FIAT (which owns 58.5% of Chrysler Group) promotes the fastest, 470-hp Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 in Europe with its best weapon: Ferrari Formula-1 team. The technical part of the "Ferrari" Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was remained intact - same 6.4 liter naturally-inspired, 470 hp/465 Lf-ft V8 engine, 5-speed automatic 4x4 transmission and impressive 4.7 seconds to 60 mph.

The differences of the "Ferrari Edition" Jeeps are almost entirely cosmetic, but very eye-catching. Unfortunately, those two red grand Cherokees are not supposed to go on sale just yet, but anyway, when you buy one SRT8, there shouldn't be a problem to customize it exactly "as one which Fernando Alonso drove".

So what, according to FIAT (the owner of Ferrari brand), makes a Jeep a Ferrari?

First of all, its Ferrari`s "Rosso Corsa" ("Racing Red" from Italian) signature body color, which is accompanied by multiple black-matte accents all around.

The roof is also black matte, just as the black stripe with thin white accent which goes from bumper to bumper. The rear-view mirrors are housed in carbon fiber (or looks like).

Strangely the company hasn`t published any reasonably good photos of the Ferrari-Jeep`s interior, but evidently insides everything is covered with red leather, while the instrument cluster features yellow dials similar to Ferrari`s GT cars.

Finally, its mentioned that the suspension has been lowered by almost 4 centimeters, which probably brings the Jeep even closer to a big 5-door sport car rather than SUV, but improves handling.

As it was mentioned above, the "Ferrari Edition" Jeeps aren't supposed to go in production yet (and might never will), but happily there`s no problem to customize the colors of your car.
